The Lostine
The Lostine model is a completely original design. Combining the power of a larger body guitar with the elegant contours of an F-style body shape, and the comfort and warmth of a sloped shoulder offering the player a versatile instrument that performs in the studio, on stage, or from the comfort of your own couch.
Simplistic beauty best describes the Lostine. Maker Justus Gray strives to allow the true beauty of the natural elements of the guitar to be the focal point by utilizing ethically and sustainably sourced timbers. An abalone shell rosette and purfling bordered by black and white wood, natural wood bindings, and subtle mother of pearl inlays pay homage to the scenic beauty of the region where the Lostine is made, all while not distracting from the figure of the tonewood.

Base price $5,500 includes:
- Custom Ameritage hard shell case
-Natural wood bound fretboard
-Gold frets
-Standard binding scheme (natural wood bindings top and back with your choice of abolone shell purfling on soundboard)
-Your choice of Sitka Spruce, Engelmann Spruce, Redwood or Western Red Cedar for soundboard
-Your choice of tonewood for body, bridge, fretboard (additional charges may be applied for certain species of CITES certified timbers or exotic hardwoods dependent on the specific piece selected)
-Gotoh medium size 510 tuning machines (Waverly tuners at additional cost)
-French polished body with Tru-Oil neck finish
Ordering
Once the design of the guitar is complete, a 50% deposit is required. The deposit will secure your build spot in the que and purchase of all building materials required. Once construction of the guitar begins, the deposit is non-refundable. Upon completion of the build, the remaining total balance is due prior to delivery or shipping of the guitar.​
